Norpa is the worst machine shop!!!
They did a valve job for me and a cleaning and a mill and re-threaded a couple holes and removed a broken bolt for me...They did an excellent job with that...now my issue is the fact that they just threw all my rocker arms into a box all mixed up and mumbo jumbo'd. ANYONE WHO IS ANYONE knows to rubber band them and keep them as a set. JUST BEWARE. when i talked to the guy about it he said well if you wanted it that way you should have taken the head apart yourself. WOW so if i want something done right i must do it myself is basically what he said. so then i stated to him that there was a broken bolt in the head that i paid him to remove because without it coming out you could not remove the rod that holds the rockers in place. and basically he really didnt care. just to let you know....anyways does anyone have a picture of the inside of their gsr head assembled that i can look at because the factory honda manual doesnt really go into detail on how to put rockers back in because they are supposed to be rubber-banded and kept together as one.

Most engine shops will tell you to take apart the entire head minus the valves and springs for them to complete the work. I know the last head that I had done they asked me to do that.

Yea i would have but there was a bolt broken that they had to get out before it could be completely disassmebled. o well water under the bridge the owners wife called me and we had a good conversation. i do have to say that their work was top notch and they did and do work to make everything right on both ends...^^^^^^^What shop do you use.
