yup it is .. the lma's are brand new and it dont beleive it is a spun rod bearing .. been there dont that .. this is a bit different noise it is def. a ticking noise noise not really a knock or tap.i beleive it is the rocker or somthing to do with it .. but we will see car is going to the shop toamrow.

I guess is that when you replaced your LMA's that one of the vtec lock pins fell out for one of your rockers. Esohsee beat to it...but that's my guess. Rule of troubleshooting..."go back to the last thing you did before the problem"
LMA's...to remove them...you have to remove your rockers. Those pins slide out so easily. It's happen to me before, but I've been lucky to see them fall out :)

if the lmas are "BRAND SPANKING NEW" they need to be pre soaked in oil or else they will fail prematurely. never had the prob but read a lot of this happening. i would check the rocker pins. see if all are in place. then redo valve lash. if the noise persists. send to someone you trust.oh yea... check if your timing belt is slapping around. helms say the long side should deflect about an inch. i usually turn the motor over manually while checking tension.

i'd also check the vtec solenoid gasket to see if it's dirty/clogged...
