Nissan sr20det and rb20det question?
i know the rb20 is an i-6...but what can both these motors hold max hp without any build up with turbo swaps and good tuning?
|
Re: Nissan sr20det and rb20det question?
i dont have experiance tuning either motor...but i have been in both w/ the mods u listed and the cars both held up fine (w/ just piggy backs for tuning..nothing too complicated)....i like the sr better than the rb (and it seems many people in jdm land too as alot of tuners/owners choose to swap ther rb20s our for sr's)
so to cut he rambling short, my answer yes...but do i have any techincal konwledge /proof of this..NO |
Re: Nissan sr20det and rb20det question?
your answer is yes? I think he asked what is the max hp these motors can hold without buildup.
I've heard SR's are good for around 400, stock block. just injectors, turbo setup, MAF. |

Re: Nissan sr20det and rb20det question?
well i think the most hp u can get out of both is a round 300 and 350 if u lucky the stock turbo is a pussy.

Re: Nissan sr20det and rb20det question?
On the SR20DET, a bone stock block can comfortably sustain no more than 600hp (the current record is somewhere in the 650 range), but that has had headwork.
Could you be more specific when you say "no buildup"? |

Could you be more specific when you say "no buildup"? What about availability of parts from vendors for the SR20deT? |
