you dont need to take the internal wastegate off to hook up a bov. just buy a metal hot pipe with a flange and t off the fpr.

as for the down pipe..... i'd run a ebay one but a flex pipe might help it last longer.

The stock turbo has an internal waste gate correct?
How would I go about taking it off so I can use an HKS SSQ?

Also are EBAY downpipes any good?
The HKS SSQ is a blowoff valve and will not replace a waste gate. Two different parts that do different things. Downpipes are pretty generic, so I would think you should be ok with with one off EBay. Hope it fits properly.

Do I need a blow off valve for the stock setup?

There's already a stock recirculation valve, so you don't need a blowoff valve with a stock setup. You can replace it with an aftermarket blowoff valve if you want, just keep in mind if you vent to atmosphere, you might have problems stalling out.
