Default Nissan hardbody lowering shocks??

I already have the 3" drop blocks for the back and we are cranking the torsion bars down in the front (by we i mean all aspects haha)... My question is has any one lowered a hardbody? Im just curious what shocks you used in the rear.

You should be able to use the stock shocks. You're not changing spring rate or anything with the drop blocks so all you have to worry about is the shock travel being reduced and the operating range will be offset by roughly the amount of drop.

Ya i figured i probably could... my problem is ( and i should have stated this in the first place so im dumb) the old shocks are worn out so I didn't know if maybe because i was lowering the truck maybe i should buy shocks with less extension or travle rate.

having just sold my lowered harbody, i can say that you can use stock shocks with blocks. it does not change shock travel due to the fact the shocks attach to the plate on the bottom of the leaf springs so their location, angle .etc. is not being changed. only the position of the rear and draveshaft change

I wasn't goin to pay someone to lower it cuz i know how easy it is but bein that they need to lower my truck to finish the exhaust i just went ahead and let him do it all at once. They needed it lowered first so they could figure out whether they wanted to run the exhaust over or under the axle.
