82mm B18b1 bottom end with a b16a2 head. Flat face valves, high comp pistons, gsr cams, acl bearings, cometic headgasket, & arp headstuds. Still in the car so you can hear it, runs great. comes with everything. Compression test read 255 in every cylinder It has about 1200 miles on the bottom end and about 10000 on the head. Sorry about the lack of info But its in a 93 Hatch and it auto corrected on my phone dont know how to change names

Get an oil analysis. Might be nothing. Might be a crap rebuilt. Parts have nothing to do with it, they just make it more expensive if the rebuild is done poorly.

All im trying to figure out if it is normal to see metal dust there's not a lot and only has had the oil changed once just trying to see if this is from the ring seating and the new parts breaking in. no need to bash me and whats auto?

The Rebuild is good whole thing was done by a good friend of mine i do know that breaking in a motor will create some dust from the rig seating but is it normal to see it after the first oil change...Am i just paranoid

You should invest in a magnetic oil pan plug this will have the (slight) shavings from the break it from being dispersed though your motor via oil pump. You should have changed the oil more frequently than you have due to any sort of shavings being in your oil, usually at 50 miles, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, then on a regular cycle as usual.
