Re: need some help
check your speedometer connection on the trans. couple of wires ensure they are hooked completly.
and sounds like 2 and 3 are incorperated together.
another mustang guy goes import- I still have one 5.slow left so havent gone full import.

Re: need some help
First gear problems like that are usually either trashed synchros or the wrong type of transmission fluid.
Grinding noises are never a good sign, but it's possible that it's something as simple as a throwout bearing or pilot bearing and not something inside the transmission.
Check your vehicle speed sensor.
And stop using things like "b4", it makes you sound ignorant and lazy. It's hard to feel like helping someone who won't bother to type a word out all the way.

Re: need some help
If you have access to an oscilloscope you can easily test the VSS (vehicle speed sensor). Its located directly straight down below the throttle body. Only sensor that low that is positioned vertically.
The grinding as mentioned before could be low fluid or incorrect fluid, typically more apparent in all gears but doesn't hurt to check.Just pull the passenger wheel, there will be a drain bolt shaped like a 3/8 square ratchet head, that is the drain bolt if you want to drain and refill. Otherwise there is a larger cap bolt with a 1/2" size square that you can use to meter how much fluid you need. Easiest way is to pull the mentioned VSS out (1 bolt, 1 connector) and get you a long necked funnel or hose to attach the funnel too and start pouring in the recommended fluid. As you pour in the fluid (approx 2 Qts) it will start to leak out the big 1/2" cap hole. You will then be topped off on the proper fluid level. Bolt it all up and see how it goes.
Honda MTF, GM Syncromesh, Royal Purple Syncromesh (might be called Syncromax), Redline also makes a product don't remember the name.
As far as the grinding noise off throttle may be the throw out bearing, pilot bearing.
However I have to disagree with Fabricat8 on the last part it not being an internal issue as i can speak from experience that a main or countershaft support bearing can cause what you describe with the off throttle grinding. I had the top bearing (cant remember if its the main or c/s) develop a small crack due to low fluid which overheated the bearing, surprisingly enough didn't have a lot of wear, just heat. But before you decide to open the case on your transmission thoroughly inspect the throwout and pilot bearing.
