Default NEED TO KNOW TONIGHT - Acura/Honda bolt size!!

Hey guys, my problem is with my transmission mount on the passenger side (every engine from d to b should be the same part number but to be more specific i have a 1997 acura integra gsr in a 1997 ej8). i noticed that 2 of the 3 bolts that hold the transmission to the mount were missing after i went on a long car ride to the beach last week. i need to know what size the bolt is so i can heli coil it. i have searched and googled but i can only find that its a 12x56.7(or 55.7 depending on your source) but i need to know the pitch!

and m12 seems to be way to small, so can someone please clarify! i need to know this answer by tonight so i can buy a heli coil kit/bit tomorrow morning before work so i can fix my car before this coming week!

thanks in advance!

CLIFF NOTES:

Car: 1997 Acura Integra GSR

Need: Bolt size for passenger transmission mount - the 3 bolts that actually go through the mount and into the transmission

What for: Heli coil kit

An M12 bolt is almost a 1/2 inch diameter (25.4mm per inch). That's too small?

You realize that bolts are sized by their threaded diameter, not the size of the head, right?

It's either going to be a M10 or M12 bolt, I can't remember which, but either way it's going to be a 1.25mm pitch. There are very few common metric thread pitches, so you're lucky.

for some reason it just didnt sound right, idk i think i keep confusing m12 with 12mm in my head. my bad, thats what 3 days of 12 hour shifts do to you. but thanks for figuring out half the puzzle

M12 is 12mm. Same thing. M is for metric, 12 is for the diameter in mm. You're looking for M12x1.25 bolts of whatever length you need.

probably 1inch and 1/4 should be plenty...1/4 inch thick bracket...close to an inch inside the tranny

Make sure you double check what it is, I can't remember if it's M10 or M12 so you still need to find that out. Google just found this which may help: http://www.hasport.com/tech/installs/EGJ1.pdf

an 3/4 to inch bolt should be fine...and if you have one bolt left...remove that bolt and go to advance and say hey...i need two of these...not awfully hard
