It doesn't work as far as i can tell, since the part numbers are different along with that the chassis/subframe are different themselves.
For further reference check part numbers as they will show you what is interchangeable generally.

The hole isn't that big. I think I fixed it with this putty-like repair stuff from Advance Auto. Was that going to be your solution as well?
