Need input from VW techs!?!
Hey. I have a 1999 Volkswagen Passat. The rubber gasket that surrounds the sunroof is rotted and allowing heavy rains inside. How hard is it to replace this gasket? Have you ever done so and how much would it run? TIA.

Not a vw tech, however just replaced one on my little sisters took under 1.5 hours and was fairly easy to accomplish, no leaks at all now hers was a 99 passat as well, i would have to ask her how much it was here is a link to do it http://www.ehow.com/how_4508387_serv...vw-passat.html
