well first things first. my DA teg started to not start on first try but would eventually catch..then it started to turn over then when i hit the gas bogs out and dies on me and is harder to start.. it only does this once and a while but has done it more since i replaced the header...i got a new dizzy to see if it was it and nope, not the problem......any ideas wtf it could be????????????i have checked the FPR,MAP,andIACV,grounds and plugs to starter and altenator...

CAR:91 obd0 acura integra coupe(factory with intake and headers)
motor: 1.8 ls

Check the TPS and IAT also. You're off to a good start for troubleshooting though.

did you hear the fuel pump cut on?

ya the car turns on just takes like 2 trys and stalls out if i stop then take offf sometimes....

you try the TPS sensor, the firing order in the spark wires, fuel pump, ECU

cheack main relay? was it doing it when it was hot in the car?

ima change the plugs and wires soon......no CEL's ever......^^^what do you mean by hot inside

try fuel filter and plugs.


prime the fuel pump twice and then try to start it,see if it turns over easy or the same. If it turns over easy then its fuel related.

i unbolted the fuel filter from the firewall and shook it up and it seemed to make a difference.....idled higher and didnt mess up once while drivin an hour
