NEED HELP: Door key code for Ford/Mercury
I just recently bought a used 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The car has a keypad on the drivers door. The problem though since its used is the guy I got it from didn't know the code. Does anyone here know how I can look up the original code or reset the door??? Any help is much appreciated.

There is a sticker some where in the car with the code. Sometimes it is in the glove box side wall, sometimes it is in the trunk. I think every car is different. I know for Explorers, it is behind the plastic on the drivers side quarter panel. Try the pass side trunk lid hinge.

if you can find the door lock/alarm module the five digit code will be on a sticker on that module. most likely is somewhere around the trunk area hidden behind a pannel

The only other way to get the code is to go to Ford.

Your factory code on your 2000 MGM can be found on your trunk hinge, and most the time, in your owners manual. The car comes with a little card with the code on it.
