my roommate used my car to jump start his car. he connected the positive to the negative terminal on my battery. now NOTHING is working on my car! its a 92 DX civic. what the fuck happens now???

replace the fuse and you will soon find out.

just check all the fuses. pass side, against the firewall by the battery in that fuse box.

i just checked the fuse marked "battery." its the biggest fuse of em all (80amps) and its FRIED! so im gonna get another one tomorrow and we'll see what happens. for some reason i was thinking this was gonna be much worse than it is. i was just to lazy to go out in the rain at 12 at night to check some fuses unless i was told thats what it might be.

dude do you know how under car companies would be with all of the women in the world who dont know what + / - are and just toss them on any plug that fits?

thats what fuses are for, so you dont fry anything else.. hense the 80a #. that means once current goes above 80 it destroys itself and thats why you shouldnt use a fuse size that differs from stock
