Need help ASAP!!! S/C 350z ????'s
The car is a Vortech s/c 350z vert. with an auto. What should the EGT's be at? He's hitting around 1000 degrees cruising. The tuning on the car is the box tune from vortech. Any comments or concerns? Oh, the egt sensor is mounted BEHIND the cat. if that makes any difference, which I think it does, but I just wanna second opinion...

got to www.my350z.com and maybe do a search in the FI section. Or you can give the guys at www.forgedperformance.com a call. They know their FI z's pretty well.

Buying a pre-charged car is always a risk no matter what their EGTs are. This should pretty much go without saying. Strap on a set and DIY.

It wasn't bought like that, we just did it like 3 weeks ago...

Well my question is... what are you AFRs and what wbd02 are you using? EGTs are great IMO, but they are a bit old school in determining whether or not your car is really "safe".

We don't have the wideband hooked up yet. I made him buy one because like you said, they are the best monitoring tool IMO...It's a AEM unit too, btw...
