NEED HELP
ok i have a 99 DC2 that i think has a head gasket blown. it doesn't smoke but if i crack vtec to many times it will start to over heat ( the temp hand will go up to hott ) and blow all of the anti freeze out of the overflow. it is also leaking right where the head gasket is at by the tranny on the front of the motor.
I can drive it normally and it won't over heat only when I get on it. Thermostat and radiator cap and thermo sensor have been replaced
Could this be a blown head gasket or starting to be one ?
another ? is i have a check engine light that keeps coming on after it gets deleted and its from cylinders 1 and 2 not fireing. i have replaced spark plug and spark plug wires with NGK. does anyone know why ?

Re: NEED HELP
1) I didnt read the whole first part, but check your water pump. It sounds like it isnt pulling the water through the engine.
2)The dizzy cap could be bad. The injectors could have failed. What did the spark plugs look like when you pulled them?

Re: NEED HELP
the coolant maybe coming from a coolant line thats by the dizzy AND HEAD. ( THERE ARE A FEW COOLANT LINE THAT RUN BY THERE
from the guys post above, (honda injectors usually dont leak )
just check the 1 and 2 compression,
ALSO YOU SAID YOU REPLACED THE THE WIRES, SO ARE YOU SURE YOU DONT HAVE 1 AND 2 CROSSED ( THE 2 PLUGS MAY NEED TO BE SWITCHED )
AND LASTLY IT WOULD NT HURT TO REPLACE THE RAD CAP. BELIEVE IT OR NOT A LOT OF CARS NOT JUST HONDA, THEY RE RAD CAPS ARE BAD. THEY DONT HAVE TO LOOK BAD TO BE BAD
HOPE THAT MADE SENSE AND HELPS

check engine light.. if you've replaced plugs & wires, were the plugs gapped properly to .044? And whens the last time you replaced the cap & button?
