Default Nasty Noise!! Need Help..........

For the last couple days my mr2 turbo has been making a horrible noise around 1600-1800rpms then goes away under or over that! It sounds like its coming from the head but i could be mistakin. At first i thought it was just a turbo gasket or somethin got loose but i don't see anything shaking up top at all! The car doesn't seem to drive any different but around those rpms the car sounds like complete shit!!!! anybody have any idea what it could be? please respond. i need all the help i can get!

Default sound

it sounds like a very hard sound, a peice of metal bouncing back and forth, coming from my head. it only does it from 1600-1800 rpms then i just disappears. you got any idea what it could be? any help would be really appreciated.

when i think about it, it was doing it before i got the new clutch, went away after installation, and now has came back. but it seems like its defenitely comin from up top. but ofcourse im prolly wrong. i gotta take a look up underneath it. this weekend im haveing a recall done on my ac at toyota so they can see what they did wrong to my car. everyone keep posting ideas for me to check!
