my vtec wont kick in ......wtf!
ok so i have(jdm b16 head b1 block) the oil line hooked up rite head gettting oil uh p72 computer(gsr)is hooked up- uh everything is hooked up rite-just no vtec,im sure there couldent be but so much wrong with this situation....could sumone give me a list of things i could check ,that would make vtec work......i was told maby i didt remove the floater pin...i dont think a b1 block has that or does it?

Your P72 is chipped I assume to disable the knock sensor and the IAB control? You don't have a knock sensor or a GSR manifold (with secondary butterfly) so you're probably throwing at least one CEL...?

Speed sensor could cause it. Vtec won't engage below 10 mph or is it 15 mph........ LOL

i would obviously check oil pressure first. what oil pump are you using? if you are positive your solenoid is good and everything is hooked up properly i would then check the dowel pins.
