my new b20vtec what you think?
so i just bought for 1600 bucks tell me what you think about it all
Parts in this engine:
B20B block
B20Z pistons
Factory colored coded main and rod bearings
ITR oil pump (ported for extra flow)
ITR water pump
Brand new GSR timing belt, and timing belt covers
Balanced stock rods
ARP head studs
Blocked decked .030 = 11.3:1 as currently configured
B16 head – stock valvetrain
ITR intake manifold, B16 throttle body.
OE gaskets, with spares
F1 Spec (Hytech copy) stainless steel Tri-Y header.
Everything is ready for VTEC (has a brand new oil pressure sensor in the VTEC Sender), oil line hooked up, pigtail for wiring, etc.
Brand new VTEC distributor
NGK plugs/wires
Stock big shaft YS1 tranny
Clutchmasters 8lbs aluminum flywheel
Small shaft YS1 tranny (parts)
Small shaft B16 cable tranny (parts)
Clutchmasters 6puck sprung clutch/pressure plate
Extra intermediate shaft
Boxes and boxes of extra parts (3-4 sets of pistons, oil pans, B16 block, oil and water pumps, and so much more!)

Whys that?
Any built motor won't last what Honda's factory motor will last.
I've personally seen b20vtec/lsvtec motors last a good while even with all the hell they went thru.
The dude you bought that from is a good and honest guy, he wouldn't screw you over.

same setup as me, waiting on head to get back from the machine shop had a little warp in it leaking compression. Mine strapped to a 98 spec type r tranny. Got a little taste of how it will run before the hg started leaking, you gonna like!!!

I've personally seen b20vtec/lsvtec motors last a good while even with all the hell they went thru.
The dude you bought that from is a good and honest guy, he wouldn't screw you over.
