hey i bought a camry 01 and when its at idle for maybe 10 minutes it starts humming a couple times everyfew seconds similar to the sound of a vibrating phone ive never had this happen with my past 2 cars any ideas what it is??

Is your AC on? Turn it off and check for this sound again.

haha still made it with ac off rpms started gently jumping when humming starts.. i bought the car used but it was like 2000 under everyone else phone wasnt ringing 2nd question is it true your car can humm if you put rims on?

loose exh. sheild? loose timing cover? bad rear liquid filled mount? could be anything, kinda would need to hear it to diagnose it more.

i know that the over flow for the rad needed to be changed but that wouldnt be it it revs a little when its not moving for maybe 2 min.
