which muffler?
i have a 99 civic si that is boosted has 3 inch exhaust until its get to the back wheel then goes to 2 1/2 with a twin loop muffler but i hate the loud exhaust and want to change the muffler but i need a muffler with good flow thats quiet any suggestions?

The thrush turbo muffler sell them at advance auto. Has a nice low tone and still non restricting. I hate loud exhaust my cars pretty quiet with it , and im running straight pipe all motor very nice tone.

One of the most effective things you can do to reduce noise is add a resonator. Use three inch all the way back with one or two resonators and maybe that Thrush or a Flowmaster. If its still too loud, a Magnaflow 3 inch catalytic converter will bring the exhaust down to damn near stock noise levels but still flow plenty.
