What are you putting it on? What is the white wire supposed to go to?

It's going in a 91 rex sohc motor.......... the white wire indicates it should be connected to points or amplifier output (connects to yellow wire of timing accessories) at least thats what it says on the back of the unit. The other is a plug indicating it's a magnetic pickup in distributor or cranktrigger. It states that you have to connect one of them but not both of them at the same time......... any clue on what this means? TIA

I don't know the answer, but I might know someone who does... I'll let you know if I get anything from him.

Thumbs up msd

I'm using an MSD Blaster 2 external coil, I'm removing the stock internal coil in the distributor............... You said to connect the negative wire from the factory and connect it to the white wire from the MSD SCI unit? Will try this tomorrow afternoon and will post if successful . TIA G@ttig@ng

Thumbs up MSD

Thanks bro!.......... I was going to do it today but weather sucks.......... I believe your right on that negative wire from the factory coil. Do I cap the postive side of the factory coil wire since the MSD has wires connecting to the external MSD Blaster 2 coil?
