does anyone know who makes the facory bypass valve i bought my car used and im not sure if my bypass is factory. I dont think it is im just curious On the top it says "forge" thanks fo your help

No.. Forge is not stock. Bosch makes the stock diverter valve.

But yes, keep it if it's functioning properly. Is it the 007?

run it on a stock turbo car. even on an upgraded turbo, a type-s sucks. I ran one... ran like shit. Do you enjoy having it not completely closed at idle?

It's great that you figured out something 2,000 1.8T VWVortex owners/browsers couldn't figure out.... There have been 100,000 BOV debates on VWvortex and the conclusion, every single time, is that the SSQ is the only BOV that really works efficiently on the 1.8T powerplant.
