ls vtech swap. obd1 to obd2
im swapping a 94 ls non-vtech with a ls vtech and im drawing a complete blank on the best way to go from obd1 to obd2. where should i get the jumper harness, what ecu i should use and anything else you can think of that would possably help.

Why not just get an OBD1 vtec ecu and call it a day...

^^ This. ^^^
In addition, staying OBD1 will give you a much easier path to tuning, should you decide to do so in the future with any mods you may have planned. Piggyback based ECU's are much easier to come by vs. standalone EMS's.

Because you aren't going to have a knock sensor because it's an LS block, a P28 or P06 (converted to VTEC) would be the easiest/cheapest option. You'll need to get the ECU chipped though, because no stock Honda tune is going to match an LS/VTEC setup. You can't chip/tune an OBD2 Honda ECU, so that's the other reason to use an OBD1 ECU.
You could also use a P72 or P30, but both of those have knock sensor boards inside that will have to be disabled during the tuning process (because you won't have a knock sensor) so there's no advantage to using those. They're also both more expensive because they're the preferred ECUs for B16s and B18C/C5 and weren't produced in the same massive quantities as the P28 from the D16.

Find a tuner, they should be able to do it for you before tuning. Should be $30-$50 for the chipping process usually.
