Default ls/vtec

Alright I just bought a 94 Integra LS. I wanted a GSR but I got a good deal. The guy told me it was bored and stroked to a 2.0L but he didnt have any paper work. The car pulls pretty hard so I dont think hes lying, but Ill have to look into that later. Would it be smart to make it ls/v or just get a gsr motor? Im thinking that bottom end with a vtec head would be a pretty nice set up but I would like to get some opinions.

Also does any one know a good shop around charlottesville or richmond that would be able to check valve clearance for me if i decide to do this.

Thanks

i have an ls/vtec in my hatch. stock bottom end with pr3 pistons and a stock b16 head. motor runs real strong. from what i've been told by the guy that assembled it you don't wanna take it over 9k with stock ls rods. as far as putting it together or building one for you i would suggest B.R.E in Concord, NC. Tex built my motor for me. http://bremotorsports.com/
