Default LS Turbo or ITR Turbo

Planning on putting an ITR motor in a 92-95 Hatch and was thinking about the possiblity of it being turbo'd, MAYBE. I see though that alot of people do the LS/Turbo instead and was wondering which one would be more efficient/smarter and possibly make more power.

LS/Vtec turbo cheaper than the R motor and can take 300+ on stock bottom end.

I heard that the ITR can take the same amount because honda set up the engine to be able to run high RPM's so they put better internals in the bottom end that is the only reason I would considering it for turbo

Type R turbo is what I would do of the two.

if you want a sick ass fast motor go LS/T. if you want a motor that is going to last you a long time i'd just go type R w/ bolt ons/cams...LS/T's are definitely quick, especially with a VTEC tranny.

you said you want to be different?? Then go turbo h23 its nonvtec, but has good torque and good displacement, plus it is one of the best honda motors for handling boost...
