ls ecu question

i have a 93 eg hatch with an ls motor and a b16 tranny will a jdm gsr ecu work with it? the person says it redlines at 9k? help please?

find a obd1 ls ecu. pr4 or p75 should be the numbers to look for.

no a gsr ecu will not work.

it will work but you'll get codes for the vtec silanoid and all that .. so it's not advisable but if your in a tuff spot it will work for a temp. solution ... you just have to make sure not to go past 6,750 rpm's... sell it and get a pr4 or p75 depending on what obd you are.
