Re: lighting help

Check the switch on the stalk, the cluster and running lights are controlled by the same circuit usually.. If the switch is fine, you've probably got a broken power or ground somewhere in that circuit, or corrosion on one (or more) of a connectors' terminals.
Click here to download the factory service manual zip file for your car. Then dig in and start figuring out what's wrong.

check all the fuses under the dash and under the hood, alot of times one fuse does not control just one thing. Lets just say you blow a dome light fuse...you radio wont work and neither will your cig. lighter, so check all of the fuses and just because it does not look blown does not mean that its not, replace it anyways.

They're the slender things that have the switches on them, and wiper controls, and turn signals, etc.

No. Go to the fuse box under the hood. There is a fuse called Small Laternes or something of that nature. Thats most likely why you tail lights arent working. As of the guage cluster. If there is an after market cd player, check the wiring behind it because if a wire is bare it can cause it to ground out and not work, sometimes blow the fuse also. I had to deal with those on my car. Easy repiar
