Killed the 240
The car:
1992 Nissan 240sx Coupe
SR20DET ( Redtop )
SC61 turbo
3" exhaust
75lb/hr injectors on JGY Fuel Rail
The problem:
Coming home from work today, stopped at a light, tossed it in first and turned. At the end of first I hear a big pop sound and now my exhaust sounds LOUD, this is beyond the typical fartcan loud, this is super loud. I'm about to go out front and check it out but I'd figure I'd toss it up here to see what people think.

Found the problem, oddly enough a bolt blew off after the cat. Well, I'm hoping that's the problem, exhaust is too hot for me to go and play with as of right now.

that sounds about right, considering how you described the circumstances. If the only difference was the exhaust note, it's because of the leak from the missing bolt.

Re: Killed the 240
Fixed the bolt. But me not knowing much about turbo setups in general came to find that the external wastegate had blown completely off and was hanging down with my PS rack.
Anyone local think they can lend me a hand and come out to my house and weld the bitch back on?
