Default k20 or h22

I have a h22 in a 95 hatchback. Its pretty fast. but ive been looking into the k20 motor. ive seen what they can do. im willing to spend the money for a k20. they have so much potential, from what i heard. Parts for h22 are very expensive, and to fix too. i was planning on getting a turbo for the h22, but i heard that you got to build the engine because things start breaking after a while. So my question is that should i stay with my h22 or get a k20 motor?

This isn't really a technical question but my opinion would be to look into doing an H2B conversion on the H22 motor. The problem with the H22 is the gearing in the transmissions. The motor itself has very good potential in my opinion. Do you plan turbocharge the car?

The H2B conversion I speak of is this. http://quartersportsdrag.com/H2B.html

Motor choice should be up to you though. You can B swap the car and turbocharge it for much less money but it all depends on what you want to do really.

k series all the way, plus with the less weight of the k series your car would be able to handle again and not juts go in a straight line lol

The myth of the H22 being so much heavier than any other swap is just not true. I still think that B swapping or just turbocharging your current setup would be more cost effective and will give you the results you are looking for.

I have a stock K20A and daily drive it every day no problems at all and it will run 12s all day long.

I would go with the K-series but thats just me I like all motor. But if your looking big power H-series turbo isn't bad idea. It really depends what your going to do with the car drag or auto X.
