Default JWT Cams for the new SE-R / Spec-V

I've never upgraded a set of cams on any of my cars other than the SR20 that i had and I had that done cause i was livin in an apt. at the time......(plus i felt no difference SR20DET)

I was looking at the clained specs for these and the Nismo cams and I was wondering do you think, 8 Hp and 6-7 Tq is really gonna come out of this mod?

I'm just wondering before I spend 400 bucks.....what the general opinion on cams?\

BTW: there just higher profile cams i believe that help out all the way through the RPM's...........

They help up top just like most non-vtec cams.

Up top means higher rpms... where in the powerband you will make more power just depends on how everything is setup.

That's every single gear, just high up. Are they coming out with more then one cam? In the case of the SR20, there are multiple one's you can choose from, all the way from a smooth idleing no loss of bottom end power up to all out race cams.

Yeah i know what up top means but in the Spec-V im at 4500 when i shift from 3 to 4th and it seems to lag a little before making power at about 5000.......Thats all i meant.....
