just got 1999 civic with d16z6 wont turn over HELP
JUST GOT A 1999 CIVIC WITH D16Z6 JUST PUT OBD1 DISTRIBUTOR AND CANT GET IT TO TURN OVER GETTING FUEL GOT A SPARK WHAT CAN IT BE THANKS?????

timing. is everything in the car converted to obd1? a 1999 isn't obd1 so if nothing else is converted that's not gonna work.
edit: just realized 99 would be y8.

If it's not turning over/cranking then look at the starter, battery, or main relay. You do not need fuel or spark to get a motor to turn over. Also if it's turning over and not starting then I would look more into timing issues like ^Ryan^ said to do, but time has little to do with the motor not turning over.
