Default Just changed the clutch, running weird

Car is a 2002 Subaru WRX:

Well I finally got done with my clutch install (after forever). I also changed the spark plugs, oil, and put on an oem top mount if those means anything. The clutch still has air in the system so I need to get the rest out (when I get back from college I have an appointment). But I started to drive it regardless since I thought it would be okay. It drove perfect around town (around 45-55ish). Then I got on 95, and it started out okay going around 70 but then it started to lose power around 75 or so and then it would drop the power to around 45-55. I would pull off and then it would just lose power, almost as if it was low on gas or something. Another thing was as the turbo spooled, their was an electrical whine noise (almost sounded like a supercharger), any idea as to what that noise was? Also is this just how the break in period should be? Should I just stick to driving around town for 500-1000 miles?

Cliffs:
- 2002 Subaru WRX
- Changed clutch, oil, spark plugs, and put OEM top mount on
- Drove car
- Car lost power at around 70ish and would drop to 45-55ish
- Car also had a whiney noise as the turbo spooled
- Also is this just how the break in period should be? Should I just stick to driving around town for 500-1000 miles?

Boost leak from possibly damaged Or incorrectly installed top mount sounds like it may be causing it.
You could also have gotten oil on the clutch making it slip.
You didn't bother saying what kind of car so that's all I can offer

So are you saying x2 to which one? Or do you not know the answer and are putting "x2"?

Okay, but would that cause me to lose power like that? And in the break in period am I not supposed to be going 70? Should I stick to around town driving?

a boost leak would lead to an excessive rich condition or a limp mode. do you have a reliable boost gauge? does the boost build steadily? does it lose power at the same boost level? do your rpms increase while your speed stays the same?
