Ok I have a jdm d15b I just put in my car. As soon as I started it up a ticking/tapping noise starts coming from the head. So I pull the valve cover off because I thought a rocker arm wasn't adjusted properly. But all the valve lash is adjusted perfectly. Slight drag on the feeler gauge. I looked at the lma's and they all seem to be fine. But what I did notice is that number one cylinder is on high cam when the motor is off. And I have a feeling this is where the tapping is coming from. Any one with questions or input please post.
