is300 swap questions....
Looking to swap a 2jzgte into my is300. I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites or resources I could search. I already know about tweak'd performance for the wiring harness. And is.net for their forums and clublexus. Has anyone on this site done the swap or know of anyone that would let me pick their brain?

the whole motor is different...the gte block has oil squirters as the ge does not,lower compression in the gte of course and the head is different.but if you get the vvti 2jzgte out of an aristo it will be 100% easier...pm me

Yes I have searched on my is and there is a writeup but it is vague in the least and it goes into delooming the harness and cutting this and that to make it work I would rather purchase a wiring harness from tweak'd and use an aristo Ecu I hear that they have issues with an immobilizer???? And that rca stays on. Do I absolutely have to get a motec or haltech Ecu? Or run a piggyback setup?
