so im at the grocery store and come out and i see this civic with a front mount pull up and it sounds like he has an intake ( deep sound when he riced in ) so i ask him, and he was like i ran piping from the intake manifold to the IC and then just have a filter on the other side, he was like it helps alot ... Im in shock ... does this have any signifcant reasoning or is this guy a f'in moron ?

i have my own opinion but im just making sure im not missing anything here

sounds like a reallllllllllly expensive cold air intake. Sure, it will cool the air from the filter side, but its not going to let in any air through the IC, of course. Probably just a riced out effort to look either turbo or the cold air system by Aerospeed??? but its kinda a waste.

and you gotta think, the reason he thinks it "helped a lot" was because of his restrictive ass intake that he had on it stock.
Me and k4ff1n3 had this discussion a really long time ago. Still, an expensive waste.
