Default Intake manifold Q

What would be a better choice, b18b w/ intake manifold ported or a JG Edlebroke (spelling?). I'm not really worried about the price just the gains. . .

skunk 2 is good for turbo applications but your not going to get that much gain from a naturally aspirated motor.

skunk 2 is the same as the type r intake manifold....jg edlebrock= a lot more flow than those...go with that one..ive seen them for like 330 shipped.

the jg manifold supposedly doesnt start to make power until 8-10k rpm, if your not revving that high then whats the point.....get a turbo, hahah.....

What Josh said, the Skunk2 is great for all motor and also turbo, the JG/Edelbrock is way too big for NA unless you have a BEAST of a motor that the heads flows awesome and huge cams, all NA set ups with the JG mani have been unimpressive that I have witnessed . Now JG/Edelbrock for a turbo motor makes good power and much more than the Skunk2 in my set up , my car was still making power and climbing at 9000rpms, we will pull it up to 9500+ next dyno session! This was stock Si cams too.
