i got two CEL codes need help
ok its a 2000 Civic Si
i got code P0420 and code P0401
i got the 401 first so i got it cleared didnt care it was just emission stuff then today i got the 420 i cleared that and now it back on....again
lookin for some help any ideas

i did the p0420 said catalysit inefficiency
the other said something is wrong with the EGR could b the valve or anything with it
anyone know of one problem that could give me both codes?

Catalyst inefficiency is flagged by the second O2 sensor, so you could have either a cat converter problem or an O2 sensor problem. I'm not sure about the EGR code, but I don't think it's related to the cat converter code most likely.
