hyundai elantra trans removal
i am having a problem removing the tranny from a 99 elantra. all bolts and linkages have been removed, cross member where front and rear mounts are is out, both drive axles are out. tranny pulls out about 1/2" and then will not come out any further. trans will spin on input shaft and feels like is catching somewhere. is there something else i am missing that i have not removed? car is apart and in need of finishing.

you have to take off the 14mm nut holding the fork that the slave cylinder connects to - been a hyundai tech since 2000 - the first one i did , i had the same problem
