The biggest difference between the two is going to be the gear ratios, so you could use your existing trans or do a gear swap into yours if you wanted to.

The GSR tranny will have a small gearing advantage over your DA transmission.Whether it's worth the cost of the new tranny and cost/time to convert to hydro clutch actuation is up to you. You'll be making a relatively slow car just very slightly less slow.
You'd gain the most advantage with a B16 cable tranny. It'd be the easiest to swap in and have better gearing than the GSR tranny.Next options would be a Hydro B16 or ITR/CTR tranny.Hasport makes a kit to convert the car to hydro actuation.

Ok thanks I will look into the b16 cable trans. I just like the DA cable cause of the long gears. What year is that b16 trans?? Or us it like mine up until 93 94 ish??

If you like the long gears, keep the DA trans. All B-series trans of the same generation are all the same except for the gear ratios.

I always suggest the hydro to cable kit. Hydro b series trans are always easier to find and readily available. There are two kits you can go with, one that uses a reservoir and is true hydrolic while the other just lets you use the hydro trans with your cable set up....i'm sure there is a better way to explain it but i think i'm about to have a heat stroke out here on the job andn just don't have it in me to try n explain it better. I use the the second kit that i mentioned for my gsr swapped crx.
