how much travel do i have?

Default how much travel do i have?

hey guys, my car is lowered and i was wondering is there a way to see how much travel i have in my suspension when the car is on the ground? thanks in advance for actual help.

You can take the spring off of the strut, put the strut back on, and measure the travel. Then you just have to figure out how long the spring is when it goes into coil bind, and see if that is before or after the end of the travel that you measured before.

Or, if you know what the stock suspension travel is, you can subtract the change in ride height from that. You have to make a few assumptions though, depending on whether you're using a stock strut or a coilover, etc., because their compressed length might be totally different than the stock parts, and that may or may not be the mechanical limit of the suspension travel.
