How to know which viper alarm i have
I have a viper alarm and recently i have had issues mostly with the remote as far as i can tell but maybe some with actual alarm unit itself. I found a refurb of the 571XV for $99 but am not sure if mine is the 771XV. I do have the shock sensor in my car but as far as looking at the brain itself i could not tell which unit it was.
The remote itself is around $50 so i figured spend a bit more and i will have replacement parts for the entire alarm should anything fail.
Is there some way to identify which unit i have?
