Default How to improve my 2000 Honda Civic VP 4dr.

Currently in this car there's only about ehh, 110 HP give or take...and its automatic I4 =/

Car is COMPLETELY STOCK.

What i need to know is what kind of parts to get and where to go to increase horse power (give me a little extra boost =D) and also how to do a trasmission swap to manual?...if you can provide estimated prices those are extremely helpful on all parts provided!..I'm also looking at a new paint job and maybe custom interior...and deffinitely some new wheels...so anyone that can provide a list of parts (because I'm new at this unfortunately otherwise I wouldn't be asking) Parts, Prices, and Places please!

Thank you!

Remember fully stock 2000 Honda Civic VP I4 automatic 4 dr. is what I'm working with here.

its an INLINE 4, not V4 is all i corrected, parts for these cars are cheap and you can get it em anywhere almost. Have you checked out the For-sale Forum yet?

oh well thanks for correcting that...I guess you could say I'm pretty much completely new to this...so I'm just learning as I go...

Yeah, I've checked there but I don't know like what exactly to get seeing as how I'm pretty much car illiterate...

I'm also guessing that all civic parts are compatible with each other?..haha that probably sounds retarded to you guys but I honestly don't know.

Well thanks, but uh stickers?...I'm hoping thats not like what you get in grade school after you made a good grade on a test or something?

But i'll look it up and see what comes up...and I'm not sure what a big wing is either, guess I'll have to look that up too...but thanks for the help

Honestly, if you want to get into the "tuner scene" you already failed by having a crap base, project car. First step is to just get a 5 speed! Then go from there. It'll save a lot of time and money!

Civic Ex
Intake, Headerz, and Fart Can.
Go race Lambos
You'll win pho sho!

Just lower it and get nice wheels. You don't want to do what it takes to get a manual in there and you don't want to pay someone what it would cost.

If you REALLY want a manual sell it or trade it for a manual car.

yeah, thanks guys I wanted a manual because that's what i learned to drive on, but hey when you're parents provide you with a car, you can't complain a whole lot...Problem is I doubt anyone is going to be willing to trade me their EX for this thing...but I mean you never know i suppose....so i'm guessing you guys are basically telling me to trade this piece...which is no harm done since I haven't really started a "project" yet...

If anyone knows someone with a mid-to upper 90's EX or even low 2000's send em my way...

thanks again!
