People put them in hatches all the time.. probably just needs motor mounts and maybe no AC

I'd do it if youre going all motor

i'd take a gsr, or a Type R motor over a h22 anyday.

and you could use the stock mounts with either of those motors awell.

but not the h22.

H22 are more hype than anything. Your car will handle like shit with motor in it. If you want balls out get a type-r or a gsr

True, the H22 is the heaviest motor that can fit in these cars. I'd stick w/ a B18 of some kind and perhaps bore it out. Plus it's a bit cheaper than an H22.

Actually the H22 is cheaper than the GSR. By like $500 or more But that is because no one really wants the H22

I hear about all LS-VTEC. What about getting b18c5 and used b20 crank?

why would you do that...the b20 crank isnt designed for the high RPM's the type R is designed to throw around...well at least thats how i see it. if it has some sort of gem/plus charachteristics...then by all means share.

nope sorry. wrong. h22's are badass from a roll but dont get traction for shit from a dig.

also, if you have a decent suspension setup the car will handle just fine.

also, the h22 weighs about 40 lbs more than a b16

H = 123lb short block
B = 104lb short block
D = 100lb short block + oil pan

H trans = 96lb
B trans = 90lb

the head is maybe 10 lbs more.

Well from what I have read and heard..H22 into a CRX handles like shit turning radius sucks. I would go with a B over an H anyday. Oh wait I am going with a B.
