Some Pickups do... I'm guessing a summer of launching my jetski in brackish water is what has them fused to the hubs so solidly. I hose off the truck and rear suspension etc. after each jetski use, but the truck sits in the launch ramp parking lot all day before I get the chance to rince it all off.

My pickup has two threaded holes on the front outside of the drums that when used 'pry' the drum off- I bought some bolts from Home Depot to thread into them. Worked like a charm.

Yours have those by an chance? Mine were hard to see at first because they had so much crud built up in the holes...

This is why I hate drum brakes. Well, one of the reasons. Have you tried a crowbar? or heat? And why the hell doesn't it have the bolt holes, anyway?

Can you get a slide hammer hooked on there? I had to use one to get my drums off the first time i did my brakes. If not prybars and a BFH will be your new best friends.

Not sure where I'd attach a slide-hammper. As far as prying, not sure where'd I'd pry. I tried using my catspaw and a flat heat screwdriver, but it just wanted to bend the drum backing plate backwards rather than force the drum off.

Probably a good idea if PB blaster around the hub doesn't work.
