How do I take the head unit off of my Integra?

Default How do I take the head unit off of my Integra?

If anybody has pics or can tell me what to do that would be great.

(is it a 94-01? ) if so, you have to remove the center console (stick shift assembly and armrest/storage box. its very simple, but a little time consuming.

1) unscrew the shift nob.
2) remove the screws around the center console framing. there are about 6 or 7 the center console will come apart. the rear will slide right out... the front is take care of in the next step.
3) remove the ashtray and remove the screws behind it.

once you pull out the center console, the head unit should fall right down. at that point, its just a matter of disconnecting it. if you are putting in an aftermarket stereo, you will have to get a kit to put it in.... circuit city or best buy sells them for about 15 bucks i think. if you need help with the install...
