How can you tell internally what Ecu
Alright. Well I have come to the conclusion some dickwad, sold me the wrong ecu. The Sticker on my ECU say's Pr3 this, pr3 that and has B16A Ecu written on it as well. Well It's a fraud ecu. I was wondering why my VTEC wasn't working, so I had it wired through a switch for a while and got tired of it after a day. I Tried my friends ecu in my car, guess what? VTEC work's and it revs out all the way?! Well I tried my ecu in my boys car, VTEC doesn't work it shoots a knock sensor code in his car but makes his car run like shit. So I was wondering if there was a way you could take the ecu apart and see what one you have? I'm sure some one scammed me, The rev limit on this ECU is 72-7500 RPM and for the longest time I re-wired my car, kept trying to get a computer that was in limp mode out of it which wasn't really in limp mode.
So how can you tell by taking apart your ecu which one you have?

Post a picture of the inside of the ECU, I can tell you what it is. Just take the top cover off an snap a pic. No worthless camera phone BS either, take a real pic. You may have a ligit ECU that's broken, that's the other possibility. Things happen to electronics when they aren't handled properly somewhere along the line.

That's not your problem. If they sold it to you, it's now thier problem and they should replace it. If it's a problem with THEIR supplier, then they should have to take it up with them, not you.

AH. Well you see the problem though man, I don't have the reciept and I thought the whole time it was just in limp mode because maybe my car had a problem? I didn't realize it was the ECU till now. I purchased this ecu a while ago, before I had the crx cause I Was gonna mini me my 2nd crx i had but never did. This crx came with a B16 and had a pm6 ecu in it..

I still believe that's thier problem. If they have anyone from the shop on dVA, they will know just how far a reputation can go.
