Default Hot starting problems

Hey everyone, this is my first post on here. I am having a problem with my 87 Rx7 TII. It has a really hard time starting when it is warmed up. I takes like 3-7 cranks on the starter before it will start. Any ideas?

How's your maintenance? The first thing I think of here is plugs/wires, injectors, air filter. When it does start up how well does it run?

After it cranks up, it hesitates a little. After about 5 second of hesitation, it kicks the rpms up to a steady idle and runs fine.

The air filter is new, not sure about the plugs, wires, and injectors.

Check compression, vacuum leaks and tps adjustment....If all is ok, you might need a tuneup. Fuel injectors can be flooding, pour some bg44k injector cleaner that is sold by the auto dealers. Don't buy the junk from chain auto part stores....
