Default Honda Question

99 Prelude starts shaking when i get it about 2000 rpm in any gear. whats wrong? clutch maybe?

could be half shaft bearings, I had a da that did that, changed the halfshaft and problem solved.

was your just making noise or actually making the car shake?
from what i understand (not too much) it ussually makes a noise first for a while

seriously , ive had that happen twice to me , and its been a bad axle both times , check them by grabbing the shaft and pulling back and forth there should be almost no movement

it did'nt make any noise just made the car shake

mine made no noise, as soon as it hit right around 200-2500 rpm's it would shake the car, my fucking doors panels would shake. I think its axles. have you even checked the axles? are the boots torn? is there grease EVERYWHERE?

Bedsides axles and if it's not entirely rpm dependent, then perhaps a mount went bad?
