Honda prelude sh
 

Im deciding upon whether or not to buy a prelude type sh or a civic hatch with a h22a swap.
the sh is going for 4k and has a clutch or transmission bearing that needs replacing.
The ek hatch has no issues except for the shifting cables needing to be replaced.
I already know the expense on the ek hatch but i wasn't sure about the prelude, would the cost for the bearing be alot or is it even hard to work with yourself? Im not good on transmission stuff..??

for $4k, buy a car that doesn't need shit replaced that will prevent you from driving it.

Both of those sound like typical Honda scam garbage.

Both cars have problems which need to be addressed, and that possibly mask other more serious problems. So if you get either one, don't expect to use it for your primary car until you can get everything sorted out. I wouldn't buy either of those for the asking price, knowing that you don't actually know what's wrong with them because they aren't fully functional at the moment. If the one car needs shifter cables, why doesn't the seller change them? That's a flag. Buying any car that's been swapped by someone else and using it as your only car is asking for trouble, especially if you're relying on it to get to work.

Think these things through, don't be the average Honda owner and just think it'll be fine and then get pissed when it leaves you stranded with no way to get to your job at the mall.
