Honda door question...
I own a 1993 Honda Civic (hatchback, if it matters) and the typically black strip directly under the window is chipping off and silver is showing through. I know this is an odd question but I wanted to know how, and where I could go about getting these items "fixed", and what they are called.
I have never seen a thread on this nor have I heard of anyone ask before, but I see alot of Hondas that suffer from the same ailment. All help is immensely appreciated. Thanks -Ryan |
Re: Honda door question...
Get someone with the hookup at Honda.
They are about 45 dollars a side. They come with clips aswell. It's way worth it to buy new ones than to take them off and paint. |
Re: Honda door question...
Perfect, thanks Jarrod. Do you know the name of those things by chance?

I used to remember the name, I need to buy some myself. I'll do it once my car gets painted. :) |
Re: Honda door question...
Ive always heard them called belt mouldings and mine have the same problem. I seen some aftermarkets on ebay for 37 a side, if the oems are only 45 I would get them instead

Re: Honda door question...
Can I pull those things right off the door? And if so can they be put back in place just as easily?
Also, would this be what I am looking for? http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...PILLAR+GARNISH Part #1,3 |
